Agile C++ development - design, prototype, test and refine until complete - that's the approach that I take to development.
Originally from a technical background, an apprenticeship in Telecommunications gave me a logical outlook when designing and diagnosing systems.
Moving first into embedded programming, writing software for fire alarm systems in Z80 and 8086 assembler, then moving on to banking and finance where I was Technical Director of a small software company writing pricing applications for investment banks and money brokers.
Finally a move into direct consulting with investment banks and related finance companies for 12 years brings me to today where I'm looking to move into direct, project based design / programming work.
Work Terms
I'm available to work on a project basis (full time). Initial project specification meetings may be made either via Skype video conference or if the client is within the UK, face to face meeting - chargeable on a travelling cost + time basis.
Any project work to be covered by a simple written contract. I am happy to sign any relevant NDA.
