Full Stack Web developer
I'm mostly focused on efficiently making small web applications for personal, rapid prototyping, internal-use only, MVP or proof of concept purposes.
I build my apps with a strong emphasis on function over form, as I'm more of a backend developer. This means that the apps have a simple appearance, but they get done quickly enough.
Background:
I learned Node.js and PHP while getting my associate's degree.
I then learned Python through Udacity's online courses, and used that for a couple years.
In the last year, I've been putting my programming skills to work towards becoming a full stack web developer.
While I'm familiar with front-end work (CSS/HTML/JavaScript) and use them often, my previous programming experience makes me stronger toward back-end work.
I'm regularly picking up new skills and APIs.
Familiar with Rspec.
I'm looking to pitch in on interesting projects as a rails developer with experience across the stack.
I've several years experience working in Silicon Valley startups as a product manager and now developer so I know exactly what it's like to both define and build products.
I'm comfortable building with Ruby, Rails, HTML, CSS, Javascript, some Node.js, and
am well versed in test-driven-development with various tools for Rails and javascript
I have a B.S. in Industrial and Systems Engineering and having been doing entrepreneurial web development for 10 years. I am a full-stack web developer specializing in back-end development with Python frameworks (Django and Flask). I am also proficient with Ruby on Rails.
I have worked with many small startups as well as Fortune 50 companies in capacities ranging from developer to product manager.
I have extensive experience building and interacting with RESTful API's, data modeling, and project management.
I'm very friendly, easy to talk to, and easy to work with.
I wish you will choose me.
Best Regards.
