Civil Design Engineer Specializing in Drafting, Structural Analysis & ETABS Modeling

I am a dedicated Civil Design Engineer with extensive experience in drafting, structural calculations, and ETABS modeling, currently based in New York. I am presently completing my Master’s Degree in Engineering Management at Hofstra University, with graduation anticipated in December. Throughout my professional journey, I have consistently delivered accurate, reliable, and innovative engineering solutions tailored to residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.

My passion for engineering began at a young age, driven by the innate curiosity to understand how things work. Engineering, to me, is akin to magic—it transforms creative concepts into practical, functional realities that enhance people's lives. This fascination has shaped my professional ethos and guided my commitment to precision, creativity, and technical excellence.

Over the course of my career, I have gained substantial experience in structural design, geotechnical assessments, foundation designs, and detailed structural calculations. My skills are complemented by proficiency in software tools such as AutoCAD and ETABS, both of which enable me to develop accurate models and detailed drawings efficiently. My professional experience includes significant involvement in civil development projects, covering essential infrastructure such as highways, sewer systems, drainage, and potable water systems. These projects not only expanded my technical capabilities but also enriched my holistic perspective of civil engineering.

In my previous role as a Record Engineer Manager, I further developed critical organizational and interpersonal skills through the management of procurement processes. My responsibilities involved formal communication and information flow between design firms, oversight agencies, and government entities. Handling the precise delivery and documentation of key project files and essential documents, I honed my abilities in meticulous record-keeping and detailed project tracking. This experience taught me the immense importance of clear, structured communication and precise information management, aspects that I continually bring to my current role.

Recognizing that engineering is a dynamic field continually evolving with technological advancements, I consistently seek opportunities to expand my expertise. My current pursuit of a Master's Degree in Engineering Management is evidence of this commitment, helping me deepen my understanding of project management, procurement strategies, and effective leadership within engineering contexts. Additionally, I aim to earn the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification, followed by the Professional Engineer (PE) license, to formally validate my technical expertise and enhance my professional standing.
