If you need clear writing in plain English, I can help.
I have been writing and publishing my own short stories, journalism and history for over three decades. I reported for several small newspapers, and published short stories in Twilight Zone Magazine, and some mystery anthologies. Since 2002 I have been freelancing editing and ghostwriting full-time. That year I started my own agency, Bear Press Editorial Services.
As owner of Bear Press Editorial Services I represent several other editors and writers. I have set up editorial teams, and guided several books from initial idea through writing, editing, printing and marketing. The subjects range from autobiography to business history to psychiatry to sports. I have edited and ghostwritten nonfiction and fiction. I have connected writers with agents and publishers, and vice versa. My projects include “So Amazing: My 20 Years with Luther Vandross” by Kevin Owens, and “The Rage of Plum Blossoms” by Christine M. Whitehead. I have been editing stories and novels for writer/singer/DJ, Greg Kihn, for over two decades, including his Dust Bin Bob books, “Rubber Soul” (2013) and “Painted Black” (2015).
