I'm curious. I ask a lot of questions. Always. And about everything. I like challenges. I like people and words. I like to write. That's what I do for a living.
I love being a freelancer: I am the owner of my time. I always want to travel: by air, by land, and even while seated on the couch. During the winter, I live in my house and every day I light the fireplace; I fear that the place will be soulless without the fire. In the summer, I live in a 1989 Hymer: my feet are always covered in sand, and my skin tastes like salt!
I have been a journalist since 2001. At that time, I worked for TV but soon I started to write about travel, lifestyle, design, architecture and social issues.
During the past five years I was editor of two Portuguese design and architecture magazines. Meanwhile, I completed a master's degree in Human Ecology and Social Contemporary Problems.
Today I am a freelancer, I write about travel, entrepreneurship, life stories, lifestyle, design... I believe that all stories have at least one worthwhile perspective. The challenge is how to look for it and pass on that message through writing.
"Palavras leva-as o vento" (Florbela Espanca, Portuguese poetess); means: Words are taken away by the wind. I don't believe that. Some words stick to us like glue.
