A BROAD WORLDVIEW
I was born in England to Welsh parents, but raised in Australia. My wife and I spent 12 years working in Tasmania, and then a decade ago we moved to Connecticut. This broad life experience on three continents has had a tremendously formative impact on me. I write from a deep personal knowledge base, and it’s far more than just geography:

Long before I studied these things as a copywriter, my work for 2 decades was in a helping profession, counseling hundreds of people. This gave me unique insights into human nature, and what goes into their decision-making processes. Not only that, but I have:

For the past 23 years I’ve written between 2000 - 3000 words of persuasive copy every single week, as well as being a regular contributor to blogs and magazines. I’ve started and maintained several websites and blogs of my own which have generated significant traffic, resulting in both advertising and affiliate revenues.
A VIEW FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE SALES CYCLE
My wife is a qualified chef, and a few years ago started her own catering company. We've worked together at marketing the business. Along the way we’ve stepped into the role of business buyers. We’ve purchased numerous products and services from B2B companies in the food services industry, including some significant investments in equipment. In other words, I've been a prospect in the sales cycle numerous times. This is priceless experience that a lot of B2B copywriters simply have not had.
