Phil Parker is a professional screenwriter who writes feature film screenplays for independent producers and directors worldwide. His scripts' first drafts have attracted BAFTA-winning producers, additional funding from investors, option agreements, shopping agreements, and multiple screenwriting contest placements and prizes.
Phil graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts before working as a Creative Producer at the BBC and The History Channel. He's a dual-citizen American/Aussie living in Sydney and loves Mexican food, adventure, and the ocean.
Work Terms
Feature film and TV script work is paid in stages. An initial deposit of 40% followed by payments for the delivery of an outline, treatment, first draft, and two rounds of revisions.
A percentage of the upfront payments can be deferred until the project is sold or goes into production. Other terms and conditions will be negotiated.
