A Full Stack Web Developer

Hi I'm Philip a Mechanical Engineer and a Full Stack Web Developer, weird combination right? I took interest in Web Development in my second year in the University, when an Anime Fan club I was part of wanted to have a platform where they could share fan art.

I got help from an experienced developer on that project and it was my first web development project and I only knew HTML, CSS & JS. After the project I realized the potential of Web Development and I decided to take a Ruby on Rails Full Stack Web Developer course on the Odin Project. I got majority of my knowledge on programming from that course and after the course.

I started freelancing by taking up website development from small business in my university. One of the first projects I got was from an events management company who wanted to showcase some of the events they have managed on the web.

From there I have worked on an ecommerce site and a fundraising platform.
