Published novelist and bored Indian househusband in search of a dayjob.
I'm a born Canadian, with English, alas, as my mother tongue. I live in the Indian city of Bengaluru, and have lived in India with my Indian wife since our marriage in 2006, when Sanskrit scholarship, one of my lifelong passions, brought me to the city of Pune. My two novels, 2018's The Vetala and 2019's The Far Himalaya, represent the current culmination of a lifetime of work in literary art. Here, I seek the role of an assistant or collaborator in the literary work of others. I must also painfully and embarrassedly admit to having had an academic career, represented by a BA in South Asian Studies from the University of Toronto and a PhD in Sanskrit from Cambridge University, England, a long phase of my history that I prefer not to highlight because I hated academia, but it's worth a mention here as evidence that I know English.
