My second project with Alicia went even more smoothly than the first. She has an uncanny ability to take a few, sketchy instructions and translate them into an appealing, appropriate design. I've been market testing Alicia's two illustrations, and they are winning rave reviews. Without exception, everyone loves her work. Alicia told me from her very first bid that she probably wouldn't offer the lowest price -- and she didn't. But she requires far less hand-holding than any artist I've ever worked with, and that creates a value that goes beyond sheer price.

Alicia was the first design pro I've ever hired through Guru, and she couldn't have been any better to work with. I'm actually convinced that she's a company plant, designed to get me hooked on the service. Good news for Guru: It worked! I've already hired Alicia to do a second project for me. She nailed the "look" I was going for on the very first try, then patiently worked through a series of minor suggestions I made. Best of all, she never rubbed it in when we essentially went back to her original version. Alicia knows her stuff, and I've learned to trust her eye. From proposal to camera-ready art, my entire project took exactly one week. Alicia was able to meet or beat every deadline ... and every expectation.
