ACADEMIC WRITING: Help for students and post-graduates

Hi!

I'm a Barcelona-based teacher and writer with a passion for helping students realize their potential through guided tutoring. I can help you in the following areas:

- Understanding course and coursework requirements including how best to approach a coursework or essay topic/title.
- Advising you on research strategies, finding academic sources and articles, and how to best use those sources to your advantage
- Making decisions about research or dissertation topics
- Thinking critically about your subject area
- Improving your academic writing including how to structure essays, referencing, sentence structure & grammar
- Overcoming doubts and concerns you may have about your studies and your performance in them.

My qualifications:

- Several years of experience helping students in undergraduate and graduate studies in a range of areas including Middle East politics, service-design, TEFL, and a wide spectrum of social sciences.
- Master's degree (pass with distinction) in Human Geography from King's College London in 2015 (pass with distinction), having specialized in a sustainability, urbanism and international development-related subject. I also have a BA degree in Political Science from a Canadian university.
- Native English speaker, also fluent in French and Spanish
