ETL Developer

I have extensive work experience in ETL and BI reporting, giving me varied skills and the ability to work on various stages of Data warehousing process. I have worked on Informatica Power Center tool - Source Analyzer, Data warehousing designer, Mapping & Mapplet Designer and Transformation Designer. Used workflow monitor to monitor the jobs, reviewed session/workflow logs that were generated during each session to resolve issues and Informatica debugger to identify issues in mapping execution. Assisted other ETL developers in solving complex scenarios and coordinated with source systems owners with day-to-day ETL progress monitoring.

On BI reporting side, I was the single point of contact for OBIEE Hyperion IR and Hummingbird reports. Handled security tasks like creating user groups, users and managed users by setting up their privileges and profiles. Developed new reports and modified existing reports in Hyperion IR based on business requirements. Created customized dashboards in Hyperion IR. Modified existing data models in Hummingbird reporting tool and published queries to the server for end-users to access.

Performed System, Integration testing and supported User Acceptance Testing. Managed stakeholder communication and validated the fixed issues in order to ensure support availability as per agreed. Created artifacts such as Application Knowledge Document, Architecture, Database Design, Detailed Design, back out plans etc.
