In March of 2009 I opened my first stock brokerage account, as I started to research and build my first portfolio, a strong interest in finance sparked. It became obvious that further development of my financial skills and education would be necessary to achieve success. This inspired me to return to the University of Arizona to acquire a degree in finance. I am currently a senior scheduled to complete my studies with a bachelors in finance in May of 2013. With this newly acquired knowledge I am looking to develop a career in finance with a strong, reputable company.
Both academics and employment have boosted my interest in the value of the financial industry. I have gained leadership experience in a past wireless retail management position. My experience in sales positions have provided me the opportunity to succeed at interacting with a large variety of people and building a strong communication skill set. In my education I have developed a foundation of skills to make a successful entry into a career in the financial industry.
