Product building through a UX lens
I have been working on projects in the social sector for the last 4 years and my primary interest is in building inclusive products alongside the end users. Below is a quick summary of the kinds of projects and user engagements that I have had in the past.
For three years, I worked at Everwell Health Solutions - an organization that builds user centric technologies for healthcare programs across the world. I looked at program implementation, stakeholder engagement and conducting user experience research at public health centres across India to better understand our end users. I currently work at Swasti where I focus on the communitisation of their flagship technology product - DICEflow. I remain passionate about addressing different challenges using the aid of different kinds of innovation like technology.
My work involves a large amount of end user engagement (both patients and providers) at public health centres across the country. I have also engaged with stakeholders like the Central TB Division as well as various NGO partners. I was a key member in programs that look at implementing digital adherence technologies to improve patient compliance towards medications across diseases like TB and HIV. Through interviews with patients and providers, I provide user centric recommendations towards the implementation of these programs and products on the field. I use the qualitative methodology to arrive at logical conclusions on the way forward for our product. I also have a working knowledge of how to use Figma and Whimsical.
Prior to this, I completed my Masters in Digital Study from International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. I studied gaps in access and experiences across public, private and social sectors while dealing with emerging challenges of the digital society.
