Hello,
My name is Priyanka Menon and I am an Indian Illustrator settled in Sydney, Australia.
Having travelled most of my life, I do consider myself a bit of a ‘citizen of the world’, but with strong Indian roots. I take a lot of my inspiration from the stories I was told while growing up. And so, a lot of my work depicts characters from Hindu mythology, but I also take inspiration from the music I listen to, and pop culture in general. I like to think of my work as a hybrid of many things, but always my best work and a true representation of myself.
I am very much a people person, social, outgoing, ambitious, willing-to-learn with a very “can-do” attitude. I push myself to get the best out of everything I do.
