Dr. Mustafa Muhammad Alwan

• I obtained a master’s degree in 2006 and a doctorate in 2012 from Cairo University in environmental architecture and came up with a legislative formulation to provide natural lighting during the day without the need for artificial lighting and to save energy.
• I taught environmental control and architectural design subjects to consider the environmental dimension in the design process and provide the building’s natural lighting and heat needs to achieve sustainability.
• I established an environmental measurements laboratory in the Department of Architecture to enable students to conduct applied research and evaluate hypotheses and proposed designs.
• I supervised several master’s theses with the aim of raising the efficiency of urbanization in Egypt, rationalizing energy, and achieving sustainability
• I have conducted many international research in the field of analyzing successful experiences in heritage architecture and how to apply them in contemporary architecture
• I built many buildings inside and outside Tanta University in light of the research outcomes that were reached to maximize the benefit from natural environmental resources, reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, and achieve sustainability.
• I was assigned to manage the distance education systems management unit to monitor the challenges and obstacles that hinder the educational process submit periodic reports to the university administration and provide direct broadcasting of the development of the educational process in the university faculties.
