Bring it on! I may not be able to walk, I sure can fly

I am a passionate sports writer, with a bachelor’s degree in screenplay writing’ from Tata
Institute of Social Sciences and Whistling Woods International. I am a trained Fiction
Writer but my passion lies in Nonfiction. A silver medallist and the recipient of the
Amitabh Bachan Scholarship for excellence in Media, I found my calling in sports,
specifically Cricket.
Having cerebral palsy threw humongous challenges at me, mostly fighting aggressively for
inclusion and a fair chance at equal opportunities, and I did in return had a very deep and
fulfilling life. If not physically, intellectual my expressions are more refined then the
people of his age and I value life more then many. This made me turn my challenges into
greater opportunities and made me realise the value of self advocacy and inclusion. To be
honest my biggest joy is derived from the fact that I meat new people in a job and learn
more and more from others every second in these interactions. With plenty of
Enthusiasm, deep interest, solid understanding, strong sense of intuition and the flair for
recreating the ambiance and enigma of the cricket field with my writing i has landed a
space in The Fan Garage team of writers just after a brief internship. I have been working
as a cricket writer for them for more then a year with almost a 100 by-lines in fantasy
cricket as well as some opinion pieces.
Self-Advocacy is what my mother taught me from a very early age, when other able- bodied kids used to run away with my toys or leave me behind when that played group game. From a tender age of 6 I have led every battle I have fought, like when I barged into the office of the principal of Apee Jayee International school and got admitted to a regular school and followed the trend till I finished my graduation or got my first job. Today I am going to repeat the same thing that I told the Principal and assure you that you wont regret it ever. I told him, “sir give be a chance to be a part of your school and I will make you mighty proud”
