Intrepid journalist and traveler seeking new projects to keep the wheels turning, literally and figuratively.

I fell into a career in journalism in high school and never quite got all the way away from it despite forays into a variety of other interests which have merely provided more fodder for my writing habit. I have written for magazines focusing on the feel good, self-help genre to interior design and home and garden. I have written for newspapers from Molokai, Hawaii to Anchorage, Alaska. I have freelanced here and there and was even deeply embroiled in the early onslaught of over-eager music bloggers in 2004. My interests are varied and my research skills are on point; because of this I look forward to diverse subject matters to keep me sharp.

Work Terms

I have a preference for text or e-mail communication but am not opposed to talking on the phone as needed. My hours are adaptable to most any schedule and I expect payment preferably within two weeks of project completion for contract work, or no less than once per month for on-going arrangements. Paypal or direct deposit is preferable to checks due to my travel schedule.
