I've been a professional developer since 2005. I have worked for large companies, small companies, creative agencies, and corporations. I spent 4 years traveling the world working as a freelancer then ended up in Los Angeles.
I now teach a Snap. Inc funded web development bootcamp to women from disadvantaged circumstances in Venice, CA. This is a part-time deal, so that I can continue freelance and my personal projects on the side.
When not working, I'm skiing, thrift store shopping, or volunteering to walk every dog.
Work Terms
I teach from 8 AM to 1 PM PST Monday through Friday. I'm available for calls, or in person meetings between 1 PM and 6 PM PST. Most of my project working hours occur at night so that I can work without distraction.
I do expect a deposit before I begin and then the rest when the project is live to the public unless the project is expected to go for an extended period of time, then we must negotiate terms specific to the project. I am always happy to continue edits and additions once the project is live, but at my hourly work if it is outside the original scope of the project.
