I am an army kid. Growing up years involved constant travel, meeting new people, making new friends. Quickly adapting to a new environment became second nature. I guess my love for travel roots from there. I hold a Masters in Business Administration (Marketing). Getting a job was a cakewalk, as I received a pre placement offer from the company I did summer internship with.
I left Kolkata thereafter and shifted to Pune to be with my family. I was working as an Executive Assistant to the V.P for 5 years.

Following were my Key Responsibility Areas:

Executive Administration Support

1. Conducting research, preparation of reports and presentations for consideration and presentation to committees and the board of directors.
2. Tracking and following up on tasks assigned and to proactively adapt workflow systems and processes in a self managing environment.
3. Formulating comprehensive MIS covering all the key performance measures of the business giving a macro picture.
4. Establishing systems/processes within the organization.
5. Interaction with key functionaries for additional inputs for various business reports and presentations.

Market Research

1. Identification of new business opportunities.
2. Competitor profiling.
3. Update on Economic & Industry activities including financial results of competitors and major players.
4. Provide inputs on Indian economy and focus market segments, along with other trends and development.

In short, my job was to work on data, convert it into information to enable my boss to take decisions.

I got married in Feb 2013 and shifted base to Gurgaon. I am ready to get back to work after 1 year break.

Apart from travelling, I love reading, listening to music and baking. I recently successfully completed the first level of German language course, something I have been wanting to do for a long time...learn a language.
