Professionalism, passion and positive attitude
First, I speak four languages. Learning these languages made me very flexible and gave me the ability to see things from a different prospective. I speak Italian, English, Spanish and Chinese. Further, I spent three years in China during my studies (during high school and college).
Second, my education has prepared me for a job in a challenging environment. I graduated from the best university in Italy (Bocconi University in Milan) with a degree in international management (taught entirely in English). Throughout my university career I was involved in a variety of projects that required creativity and strong marketing skills, as well as the ability to collect and analyse data (I was selected to work at the Center for Applied Research at Bocconi when I was just in my second year of studies). Due to my studies and involvement in extracurricular project and courses, I am proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Being exposed to an international environment during my university studies forced me to always search for new ways to express myself, to get out of my comfort zone and also taught me how to be a good communicator. Being an effective communicator was one of the reasons why I was chosen as an Event Manager at the Bocconi Student Finance Society. Besides my studies, I worked as a marketing intern at an Italian jewellery company (Donna Felicissima) for almost a year. My main task in this position was online advertising and media planning. Thanks to the marketing campaigns that I planned, the company’s online sales went from 0 to 9,000 euros per month.
I will work in the Sales department of Procter and Gamble starting from February 2015.
