Thought for 2018: "What If and Why Not?"
Lisa Allen received her Master’s Degree in Architecture from a nationally ranked design program at Kansas State University. Holding several roles in leadership she acquired the skills necessary to work across a broad spectrum of cultures, industries and with diverse stakeholders in different environments.
It was during her role at an architecture firm she was approached by her professional mentor regarding an opportunity to work with a team on a sanitation project in Ethiopia. The choice she made became pivotal in shaping the years to follow. Upon completion of the sanitation project she remained in Ethiopia learning the multifaceted layers of aid and humanitarian efforts in developing countries.
Living in a variety of cultures and frequently changing the hats she wore, opportunities were endless. As Albert Einstein mused, “the mind that opens to a new idea never returns to its original size,” has certainly been the experience of Ms. Allen. It has prodded her to think differently at every turn and adds to the fearlessness demonstrated in her work and life.
Ms. Allen began freelancing; working both independently and with teams on complex projects involving UI/UX elements her design background slowly shifted into the technology space. This led to the beginning of her first company, Raging Owl.
Raging Owl develops mobile tools, software and solutions for healthcare providers. At least that is what Version 1.0 of the company did. After several pivots, Version Unnamed is primarily rooted in consulting. Healthcare, Technology, Travel, Strategics, Vision Planning and Storytelling are several of her favorite areas of focus. Her second company, RockPepper was created to focus around consumer engagement and influencing perception. It has been absorbed into Raging Owl and brings rich design and communication facets to Ms. Allen’s consulting clients and projects.
She is highly dedicated and will make a great addition to your team or project!

I understand due to the very nature of how you found me - 'hours of operation' does not apply in the generic sense. The world does not wake at sleep at the same time, and it's possible we will be in dramatically different time zones. Generally, I'm able to adjust my hours accordingly to your project and requirements in order to accomplish quality results quickly.
As I'm just starting on this platform, my hourly rate is set at $50 and project rates are offered with a discount.
Preferred communication at this time is to use guru's system and you can expect to hear from me within 24 hours (if not much quicker) once you reach out.
