I have been a journalist in the mainstream Indian print media for 15 years, starting as a cub reporter, first writing feature and then news, in 1995. Went on to be a copy-editor (proofreader), columnist, and finally news editor in national Indian broadsheet dailies (newspapers) like Business Standard, The Indian Express, The Pioneer, Hindustan Times, The Tribune, The Asian Age, Tehelka et al.
