As a dedicated professional with over two decades of experience, my career journey began at Disney, where I started as an hourly. Through determination and a commitment to learning, I worked my way up to become a workforce management business analyst. This hands-on experience provided me with invaluable insights into labor and financial analysis, shaping my analytical skills.
During my tenure at Disney, I recognized the power of data and took the initiative to become self-taught in Excel, Access, VBA, and SQL. As an advanced Excel user, I leveraged these skills to automate several processes, saving analysts significant time and resources. By streamlining operations, I facilitated a focus on the analysis portion, leading to more in-depth insights that contributed substantially to the department's efficiency.
Recently, I completed a comprehensive data science boot camp and earned a Python 3 specialization from the University of Michigan on Coursera. While my journey has been unconventional and my degree unrelated, my diverse background equips me with a unique perspective and adaptability.
