Professional writer who places clients' needs first while working toward a common goal of success

A career academic with an eye for detail, I am a writing consultant that has the proven ability to write and edit in many different arenas. Grant writing has been my primary focus for the past 15 years and my grant applications have garnered over $17 million in funding. Clients have ranged from business start-ups to non-profits, municipalities, schools, libraries and museums.

I am now beginning to work in the academic writing, editing and proofreading space.

Possessing an eclectic background, I have worked in higher education
for the past 22 years but truly learned the craft of writing as a newspaper reporter for several weeklies and dailies across the west and mid-west.

I have degrees in English (BA), religion (BA), library & information science (MS), communication (MS) and higher education (Ed.D)

Work Terms

My availability is on as needed basis. I am truly flexible and try to work from a client's timeline for completion of the project.

My preferred communication style is telephone or Skype with email and texting the most appropriate mode for quick updates and IM related project issues.
