I am a music composer/arranger, researcher and guitarist. Currently in my senior year at the Universidad de Los Andes (Mérida, Venezuela) aspiring to the degree of B.A. in music with a major in music performance: classical guitar under the tutelage of Prof. Carlos Oballos, where I also have participated in masterclasses with Lily Afshar, Aquiles Báez and Pablo Camacaro.
I have recieved instruction in compositional techniques and non-Western musical systems from Prof. Alejandro Pulido; counterpoint from Dr. Claudio Triputti; and harmony, experimental composition techniques and orchestration with Arcángel Castillo-Olivari.
Throughout my entire major in college I have been writing articles and essays (some of them published in indexed magazines) for subjects related to Art/Music History, Aesthetics and Ethnomusicology, as well as rewriting, editing and proofreading works related to Computer Science, World History, International Relations, Political and Social Sciences with main focus on Middle Eastearn and Latin American subjects, both in English and Spanish.
Skilled in a variety of academic citation/reference styles (Chicago/Turabian, MLA, APA, Harvard, Oxford)
