Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, as I have two unique skill sets to offer both you and your audience.

First, I am a former real estate industry professional, having worked as a licensed residential mortgage loan originator for six years. In that role, I counseled clients, and provided them with Conventional, FHA and some Veteran’s Administration (VA) loans.

Working with these clients, I gained a true appreciation, for what makes them tick, meaning what questions and concerns they consistently had. Many of them, rightfully so, are unnerved by the home buying and financing processes, especially first-time home buyers. My job was to help make sense of it all for them.

As a freelance writer, since that time, the majority of what I write is in the areas of real estate and home finance. Most of this has been in the form of newsletters, blog posts and some marketing pieces.

My copy is written for an audience with little or no understanding of the material, meaning I take to their level, in basic, easy to understand terms, to empower them with knowledge they need to be informed consumers.

The list of topics I have written on include:
