I offer a variety of different editing services that tailor to my strengths, which include: proofreading and copy editing for social media content, marketing material, novels, academic literature, visual presentations, video subtitles, press releases, personal statements, and research articles.

The following are a few skill areas where I, admittedly, have beginner level formal experience, but would love the opportunity to further develop these skills: website development, blog writing, and grant writing/editing. If anyone is up for a beginner :)

I am a Native English speaker from Canada who is fluent in both American and Canadian/European written English.

This smörgåsbord of services that I offer is reflective of my experiences - personal and professional. For years, I have taken on roles where writing, editing, or creating marketing materials was the majority of the job.

As a Teaching Assistant for Carleton University, I found myself editing, proofreading, and providing feedback on approximately 60 papers per week. As a Coordinator for a local community service organization, I created press releases, flyers, social media content, radio advertisements, posters, and newsletters each project I ran. Not to mention the Post-Mortem Report and Final Report with statistical consolidation due for each project. As a Marketing Assistant for an organic kombucha company, I design social media content and other marketing materials to promote the small business.

Not all positions have been paid. As a Founding Committee Member and Current President of a community service organization, Rotaract, I have created and edited documents and social media posts created to promote the club. On top of this, I've written grant applications and letters to local organizations.

When I am not working, I like to volunteer, read, practice yoga, travel, bake, cook whole food and plant-based meals, hike, and read some more! My passions are lifelong learning, holistic wellness, trauma informed c
