I'm a pretty nice person with a talent for design, trying to make a living while raising a young family.
I specialize in layouts—newsletters, brochures, postcards, catalogs, business cards, annual reports, calendars (I LOVE calendars!), books, worksheets, directories, programs, stationary, manuals, kit carriers, directories, signs, media kits, newspaper and magazine ads, fun things like bookmarks—you name it!
I am an expert at Photoshop - I can deceive even the most critical eye or drop out a background perfectly. I have web experience and can translate any project into web-friendly material. I'm adept at sending e-newsletters.
I can provide print- and/or web-ready files and as a bonus, I catch and fix typos in your content that most print-shops wouldn't bother to stop and look for. I'm also a real person.
Aside from all of this, I love metal detecting, the civil war, crochet, reading and writing, but definitely not arithmetic. I have a GREAT sense of humor (think "Dave Barry").
I have worked in pharmacy, at a craft store, in medical offices, at a marketing company, at a newspaper, as a hotel receptionist, in a marble factory, and at a church, but Graphic Design is the only thing I truly love to do (besides being a mother).
I hope to find a balance of low budget and well-paying projects and I hope to meet some great new clients!
Work Terms
I prefer informal communication. Great ideas rarely come from an uptight environment. I listen well and do my best to interpret what you are envisioning.
