Fully CIPD qualified HR Consultant with over 12 years HR and Recruitment Experience

Fully CIPD qualified Human Resources professional, with both generalist experience and employee relations specialism. Seeking further development and advancement in order to gain new skills and experience.

I have over 12 years experience working within both generalist and specialised senior HR roles. My most recent position is consultancy based, providing HR advice on employee relations, performance management issues, absence management, recruitment, reward, and policy (to give a few examples). Prior to working within HR I was a recruitment consultant, so my position involved working alongside businesses, to support vacancies through from initial request to placement. This experience is of use to me within HR as it allows me to utilise the experience I gained to support managers in making the right choices at interview to meet business needs. My experience has included conducting inductions to new staff, as well as training for senior managers on the recruitment process. I also have experience in conducting exit interviews, then providing reports and feedback to the directors for consideration.

I pride myself on my ability to build relationships and connections with both stakeholders and management. I receive positive feedback and praise from managers on the advice and support I have provided to them. I am responsible for visiting large management teams and answering any HR related issues they have in an open forum, and managers have commented positively on how these meetings have benefited them from a business perspective, to be self sufficient in low level queries.

I am an active member of the CIPD and regularly attend employment legislation updates and networking meetings to develop within my chosen vocation. I have a keen interest in HR projects and have led many during my time within HR. These projects have included development of a Competency Framework, Implementation of new policies, procedure process maps for management to utilise.

Work Terms

Available Monday to Friday flexibly to suit your business, I charge £40 an hour for HR Consultancy work.
