I am Quality Control Engineer with 5 years of experience in the field of software engineering ,few months as QA engineer, 4 years as software developer and a year as customer support engineer. during the last few months i took wide steps in my career path as quality engineer.To easily illusrate them i put them into points based on different testing types: User Interface Testing: Putting together my experience,knowledge, different resources and International standards i have created my own UI checklist that helps alot in identifing UI issues in different applications specifically web applications Functional Testing:I have participated in testing many web applications including online banking application, educational system and more API Testing:I have previous experience with manual testing of APIs and some knowledge with on-hands experience in automation api testing using SOAPUI Unit Testing "White box testing": Since i worked for four years as software developer, i performed unit testing extensively Automated Testing: I have intermediate knowledge and experience using SOAPUI, and currently started using QTP Exploratory Testing:I have partipated in a project where I performed exploratory testing and executed some scripted test cases During my development years I was specialized in web development using SharePoint 2010 and 2013, desktop applications using C# and database design and implementation using SQL server.After that i worked as customer support engineer, the thing that helped me understand things more from customers’ perspective, i found myself has a great ability to hunt bugs and identify them perfectly.One more thing that emphasized me to move to quality control is my desire and interest to work with the whole product, rather than just one piece at a time.
