Remi Gibbs has been sought out for her mentoring and consulting skills on projects such as the opening of MEET Las Vegas to sitting on panels for NACE, ILEA (formally ISES) and The International School of Hospitality. She has been working in the travel/hospitality/event industry for 20 plus years. She has a wealth of knowledge in Travel Planning, Business Development, Marketing, Catering and Meeting/Event Management. She considers herself an Event Specialist and a Marketing Generalist.
After Remi received her BA from Sam Houston State University in Houston, TX, her experience began in a family owned travel agency. She took those skills and moved into the hotel industry where she gathered a wealth of knowledge in hotel contracting, food and beverage, venue capabilities and marketing through working at multiple properties, including; the Orange Tree Golf Resort in Scottsdale, AZ and Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. While working in the hotel industry, she received her MA in Organizational Management (the people side of business administration). Shortly after completing her education, she started to explore the art of event design and management by joining a decorator in Las Vegas and ultimately running her own event planning and marketing business.
Remi has an innate desire to both give and receive high quality customer service and will neither accept nor provide anything less. She is always looking for opportunities to help people and companies reach their full potential. Remi is a creative problem solver that brings fresh, innovative ideas to the table.
When not working, Remi can be found hanging with her four fur-kids and hubby in deep south Texas. She is an avid traveler and loves exploring new places and cultures. She considers herself a foodie and is always excited to try new restaurants and dishes. She is passionate about healthy eating (even though she really wants that piece of red velvet cake) and enjoys shopping at local Farmer’s Markets.
Work Terms
I am available all days of the week and generally from 9am - 6pm daily. I will always respond to you within 24 hours unless I advise that I am out of service. I prefer all communications to be in writing either via email or text. I prefer to be paid 50% at the start of a project and 50% upon conclusion.
