My mission is to deliver a site or application that meets YOUR requirements. What problem can I make disappear for you today?
I am a life-long resident of Northwest Indiana. With over 20 years experience, three post-secondary degrees, and 7 technology certifications, I draw from a wide range of experiences to produce a quality product for you.
I am currently a technology manager at a large data and risk management company in Chicago, IL. Software development is my technical outlet, and allows me to gain enjoyment from creating something that never existed. I am particularly interested in creating web and database-enabled solutions that have the potential for a wide audience.
When we initiate a project, my goal is to ensure you walk away with a positive experience. In addition to a working site/application, you will receive all source code, diagrams, tables, and any other supplemental information that describes how the project is constructed. If you are happy with the resulting work, hire me for updates, or perhaps another project. If the experience was anything less than positive, no worries. Take the deliverables to another developer so they can get up to speed on any future work in less time.
My development style is agile. Once we have the kickoff, and initial specs are delivered, I will produce a functional specification for your review (size dependent upon the size of the project). Once we have signoff, I will build the basic framework for the application. At this point, I will make the application available online for you to review. At specific milestones, I will update the application with the new functionality and notify you. Weekly updates are also an important part of keeping you abreast of the progress so you can continue to plan your business around the project.
Work Terms
As I do most development on my train commute, I prefer routine communications through e-mail. I do, however enjoy a good kickoff meeting where we can engage in the dialog that is so critical to a successful outcome. Additional terms are specified and made available in advance of the kickoff meeting.
