I have worked with several BPO companies like Qualfone Philippines, Taking you forward, and Sykes Asia Inc. I was a Customer Service Representative at AT&T (prepaid account) the largest service provider that operates in the United States of America. I can say that I had experienced many things, like processing credit/debit card purchases (Device & Airtime cards), troubleshooting on internet connectivity issues on mobile devices, unlocking devices (like bringing the device into other countries) fixed calls/sms problem. I was also a part of the Fraud Department, and I considered this as my best call center experienced because it brought out the best in me to handle issues like subjected stolen device issues etc. Being a part of the fraud department I learned many things like making sure that the messages and information you provide to the customers must be accurate and clear to gain trust and respect form the customer. I believed that to be a good Customer Service Representative, you must make sure to listen not to reply but listen to understand.
