I have been working for over 24 years, primarily in sales and marketing for companies in the field of Telecommunications, Computers and Software solutions, Interiors, MEP, Advertising.
The Telecom companies I worked for include Hughes Network Systems, USA and Anritsu, Japan and I was instrumental in selling the first two satellite earthstations in India.
I came to Dubai and opened an office for ICL, UK selling SPARC RISC and POS systems followed by a 4 year stint at Compaq where I looked after the distribution networks in Saudi, Bahrain, Egypt and Lebanon. I then joined a retailer selling laptop carry cases from Dicota, Germany which lead to a fair bit of FMCG experience. I also sold their Veritas solutions to the banking and military sectors.
In 2002 I joined ALSAA, a joinery specializing in exhibition stands and taught myself SketchUp and Keyshot to deliver better visual presentations to clients. From joinery works, we diversified into Fibreglass, Signage, MEP and Interior Fitouts. We have had the opportunity to work on several iconic projects at Abu Dhabi Airport, Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall, Hotel Atlantis, MovenPick Hotels and Jumeirah Golf Club in Dubai.
My writing experience comes from freelance work I have done for TAG Advertising and AWEBCO advertising.
Work Terms
My hours of operation are flexible and typically extend from 5 hours during weekdays to 12 hours on weekends. My communication lines are open 24x7 since there is an emphasis on speedy responses and meeting deadlines.
