I am a young Individual who is currently working as a Computer Programmer at the University of Peradeniya Sri Lanka. I graduated from the same University in 2011, successfully completing a degree in Physical Science. After which I enrolled in a Masters degree in Computer Science at Postgraduate Institute of Science Peradeniya Sri Lanka. I successfully completed the degree and managed to be the top of the batch by acquiring a GPA of 3.96. I did my research project in Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) titled: AN EVALUATION OF COLOUR AND TEXTURE BASED IMAGE RETRIEVAL TECHNIQUES IN CBIR TO FIND AN EFFECTIVE COMBINATION OF TECHNIQUES. I also have Completed BCS (British Computer Society-Charted Institute in IT) Professional Exams.

I have thorough Understanding about object oriented programming techniques and system development principles. I also have in depth understanding on data structures and algorithmic analysis related to Computer science such as Searching algorithms, Complexity analysis (Big O Notation) etc. I have working knowledge in many programming and scripting languages, Java, PHP and Python to name a few. I have being working more than 12 years in Web related technologies and have obtained proficiency in Codeigniter, Html, CSS, JQurey and MySql, both in house and as a freelance developer.

I have a natural curiosity towards new technology. I like exploring the unknown to gain more experience and expand my knowledge about life in general and IT related technology in particular.
