Assistant Lecturer in Electronic Engineering
I completed my MSc in Robotics and Automation with at University of Salford - Manchester in 2019 and I completed my BSc in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Wolverhampton, UK in 2016 & currently I am reading my MPhill under the supervision of Dr. Sunil Abeyrathne and Dr. Lasantha Senevirathne.
My research interests are object recognition, natural scene understanding, and using machine learning techniques to solve robot perception problems. During my Undergraduate studies my research was Auto Piloting System for an Unmanned Areal Vehicle under the supervision of Ms. Sujeetha Gaspe furthermore I was able to publish a paper in IEEE conference which was held in University of Ruhuna, Sri Lanka.
