I am a UK based graphic designer and illustrator, working in various digital and physical art mediums, with a focus on book and cover art for children and young adults.
I have been a graphic and product designer for close to ten years now. I started in illustration, using physical mediums such as water colours and acrylics, and gradually started taking on more and more digital design projects. Over the years I have had the pleasure work on a range of different projects, including; book covers and illustrations, album covers, family themed gifts, anniversary and wedding themed gifts, and even sculptural ornaments that were cast in tin.
My main focus is on illustration and design for books and other printed products. I have a lot of experience working with designs to be printed on to all kinds of different products, ranging from novelty items such as hipflasks and bottle openers, to greetings cards and posters/prints. Regardless of the project, I am incredibly flexible and I have a wide knowledge base that I believe will be useful in any project, no matter how weird.
Work Terms
I operate on a 38 hour per week basis and fit all of my work in around that. I communicate mostly online though, if needed, I am also available via phone. As file sizes can be quite large, I tend to send files via WeTransfer.
