Hi,

I have worked within the electricity industry for fifteen years, within the same role that has evolved dramatically since i joined.

This has included the introduction of multiple social media accounts for which my team are responsible, the biggest of which have tens of thousands of followers or likes.

I have found myself the de facto editor and go-to writer of templates for updates for those involved in power cuts. These are for use by a large team over SMS and social media platforms. I have spent many years crafting easy to read, layman friendly communications with candour from technical engineering notes.

I am a native British-English speaker, with a ferocious interest in English language. As such, I am confident I can write, re-write, edit or check any body of writing for use on websites, social media platforms, mass communications, blog posts or for personal advertisements.

I would also be comfortable writing descriptions for products, places, services or people to exact specification and tone.

I am happily married, enjoy travelling and reading, movie buff and reading fanatic. I am also working to write my own fiction novel in the horror/fantasy genre.
