Self-Motivated Young Professional
I am a hard worker and tend not to give up easily. I am a self-starter and do not require much supervision or micromanagement once set to a task. I have been working consistently for 10 years now (since I was 15). I began working at Chick-Fil-A in high school and quickly became an assistant manager by the time I graduated. Afterward, I performed a number of food service or construction/landscaping jobs as I paid my way through college (with the help of a few loans to keep my full-time student eligibility and financial solvency). Since, I have worked in a variety of professional environments such as law firms and politics where I have conducted myself with courtesy and respect and accomplished quite a bit. Whether managing a law firm or a political campaign, I have proven skills in collaboration, project management, communications, and strategy. I enjoy freelancing as it allows me a greater degree of freedom from my traditional work schedule and provides me with the extra income I need. I am a prospective law student at Campbell University School of Law in Raleigh, NC and as such am always looking for ways to reduce the cost of my education and provide for myself.
Work Terms
I generally work on an 'as needed' basis. I do not keep set hours for freelancing and work with my clients on the best ways to go about accomplishing the project at-hand in time for their deadlines and needs. However, I am located in the Eastern US time zone and generally do not communicate outside of 8 am to 9 pm EST. This, of course, is normally for first-time or one-time clients. My regular clients and I work on a good communication schedule and it is never an issue to schedule something as long as all parties are in agreement. I am flexible, in other words.
