With a voracious appetite for learning, Robyn pursued her education in English, earning a degree that laid a solid foundation for her future endeavours. After graduating, Robyn’s career path led her to the classroom, where she spent several years as an English teacher. In 2015, Robyn made the courageous decision to transition from teaching to full-time editing, channelling her expertise and enthusiasm into creating Sunshine Edits. Her dedication to excellence and her commitment to continuous improvement led her to pursue further qualifications and certifications in text editing and proofreading. Her relentless pursuit of knowledge culminated in her becoming an accredited text editor in 2022 – a testament to her unwavering commitment to her craft.

Work Terms
I maintain a flexible schedule and can accommodate most time zones, ensuring timely communication and project updates. My typical working hours are generally 9 AM to 5 PM SAST (GMT+2), but I am open to discussing specific deadlines or urgent requirements when they arise.
Payment terms are negotiable based on the project scope and duration. I generally prefer milestone-based payments for larger projects and a 50% deposit before the commencement of smaller tasks, with the remainder due upon completion. Payment methods are discussed during the initial dialogue of your project to ensure a clear and mutually agreeable setup.
I prioritise clear and efficient communication. E-mail is my preferred method for detailed discussions, but I am happy to schedule video calls for more in-depth conversations as needed. Regular updates are provided to ensure alignment with your expectations.
