If it can be done, I can do it.
I am a talented programmer motivated by gaining verifiable experience and building professional relationships which I can use to advance my own career and help others along the way. I have enjoyed working with many people and companies from all around the world since January of 2009 as a freelance programmer. I have worked on many interesting and exciting projects in the months, and now years, since I completed my first independent project for hire.
I am a 3.61 GPA college graduate with formal training in Visual Basic and C++. Since then I have migrated to the C# language due to the promise and reliability of the .NET Framework and have expanded my knowledge of programming concepts through development of hobby projects for myself and freelance projects for a variety of customers.
My pre-freelance professional programming experience includes designing a fully-featured inventory control database and graphical front-end, and an application for gathering material testing equipment data. These were my first two truly professional applications, although written in VBA/Access, yet both are still in use after 6 years.
I am only interested in pleasing customers, and therefore will only bid on projects that I am capable of completing. Of the four to five hundred jobs that I browse daily, I only bid on 3 to 5 of them. I don’t wish to be a Jack Of All Trades, but I do what I do, and I do it well.
My hobbies include GIS programming, electronic circuit experimentation/construction, camping and fishing.
If you are reading this because I bid on your project, I thank you for your consideration and I look forward to working with you.
Work Terms
I prefer to communicate via the job board. Generally speaking, I will have 10 hours per week to apply towards freelance projects. Please contact me to discuss more specific details.
