I have taken up the role of a proofreader as I've been able to improve other people's work in the past as well as provide suggestions that can enhance their work and help them do better in what they're pursuing writing wise.
One of my primary roles is to detect and correct errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, and syntax. I'd say that I have a keen eye for detail and can catch mistakes that the author might overlook.
I also ensure that the text flows smoothly and logically. I can identify phrasing that sounds out of place or confusing sentences and suggest revisions to improve clarity and coherence.
I can also help to maintain consistency throughout the text by ensuring that formatting, style, and terminology are uniform. I believe that consistency enhances the professional appearance of the document and improves readability.
Finally, I'm able to polish the language and presentation of a document, this helps me to enhance its professionalism. Whether it's a business report, academic paper, or creative writing piece, a well-proofread document can reflect positively on your credibility and competence.

As this is online, I'm free at differing times but I should be able to get any documents checked within 2 weeks of it being sent.
