An experienced Filipino translator and quality checker
My fascination with insects started when I accidentally ate ants at the age of 11. Intrigued by the taste, I initially aspired to become a licensed myrmecologist but ended up in the colony of localization management and translation.
I started as a full-time English editor in a localization company with headquarters in Seoul, South Korea, became a localization manager for more than 3 years in the same company, and went freelancing as a Filipino English translator afterward.
I love this profession because I serve a purpose for cultural and linguistic understanding.
