Founded in 2024 by Romier Owens, a seasoned IT and cybersecurity professional with over a decade of experience, Owens Cybersecurity Advisory was born out of a deep passion for protecting small and medium businesses (SMBs) from the ever-growing threats of cyberattacks. Romier's journey began in the U.S. Air Force, where he developed a foundation of integrity, service, and excellence—core values that have shaped both his career and the mission of OCA.

After witnessing the devastating impact of data breaches on SMBs—60% of which close within six months of a cyber incident—Romier saw a gap in the market. Many SMBs lacked the budget, expertise, and resources to proactively secure their operations. Determined to bridge this gap, he launched OCA to provide tailored cybersecurity solutions, strategic guidance, and education to help businesses thrive in an increasingly digital world.
