An effective and efficient Film Editor and animator generalist that can take a project from beginning concepts to finished product.
I am a self-educated film editor and animator with over 3.5 years of experience. I started with almost no knowledge of the film industry and only the basics of film editing, mainly making montages during my high school years. People always said that I had a gift for making videos look amazing, so in 2012 I started learning the finer details that go into film editing on my own with the use of excellent resources such as digital tutors and video copilot. So helpful were these tutorial resources that I quickly learned the ins-and-outs of systems like adobe and autodesk. I learned what I could do with 3D animation & motion graphics and fell in love with it instantly. Both live action and animation allowed me to externalize my creativity and imagination to the fullest. Since then I've become very proficient at both sides post-production to the point that it is now my full-time career. I have done a multitude of Short Films, PSA's & Commercials, Documentaries & Montages, and several other film projects, as well as numerous animation & motion graphics short films and sequences. I'm also create 3D art and build cosplay costumes and props. And yet my thirst for creativity has yet to be quenched as I'm also in the process of writing my first sci-fi novel titled "PRAXIS: The Choices the Define". I absolutely love my job and consider myself extremely lucky to be able to do what I do. I wouldn't trade it for anything else.
Work Terms
Hours of operation are very flexible for me. whether it's a laid back post-production schedule that allows for plenty of time to get the very best quality out of a product or a crunch-time overnight edit that has to be cut together for tomorrow morning's meeting, I'm always eager to work hard. I typically try to keep it between 8-12 hours per day, but I've had my fair share of 16-18 hours days and all-nighters to make sure a product is perfect and on time for my clients
Payment varies from project to project and can be negotiated, or it can be based on my standard hourly rate.
I prefer email via QuantumAscensionStudios@gmail.com or texting, but I can just as easily speak over the phone if you questions, comments, concerns, changes, etc. that are just too much to type out.
My live-action editing pipeline is primarily Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe SpeedGrade. And For animation I use Autodesk Maya, Autodesk 3DS Max, and Element 3D (plug-in for After Effects)
