I am interested in online teaching, curriculum development, and/or subject-matter-expert freelance and/or adjunct positions (part-time, if feasible).

I earned a PhD in Interdisciplinary Humanities (Florida State University, 1992) with a focus on Art History and Critical Theory, and with the requisite 18 graduate hours in several subjects including Art History, Aesthetics, Interdisciplinary Humanities, and Philosophy.

In all of these subjects I have experience teaching both graduate and undergraduate students, and experience teaching both traditional Western Surveys as well as Non-Western variations on all of these subjects.
In addition to my requisite subject matter expertise and qualifications, I have a proven track-record demonstrating my outstanding communication, motivational, and instructional skills in diverse and non-traditional environments. My professional, collegial manner and sincere dedication to facilitate the efforts of diverse groups are also well documented.
Goals and Intent:
I am interested in online teaching, curriculum development, and/or subject-matter-expert freelance and/or adjunct positions (part-time, if feasible) because my first commitment is to provide the highest available quality of education to today’s expanded, increasingly diverse, and dynamic student demographics.
My extensive experience teaching university classes in both traditional and online formats provides me with unique insights regarding the differences between the two forms of education and the tremendous potential of online education. I am eager to use my expertise and experience to expand and contribute to online educational opportunities however -- and wherever – these can best serve the needs of students.
I have excellent experience and greatly enjoy working with ESL and international students.
I also am extremely interested in non-teaching related opportunities to contribute my experience, expertise, knowledge, and skills.
