Work Terms
In order to know if the project is a correct fit between this office and the potential client, the first phone consultation is always free.
The process begins with the potential client sending an email that gives a short but significant description of what they wish to achieve.
If Royal Knight Inc. has an interest in the project, a lengthy phone consultation is then warranted. The potential client will be notified and a time arranged. At the close of the call, both client and company will determine if there is a need to move forward. If the answer is 'Yes', a budget and timeframe for the services will be generated and submitted back to the potential client by email.
Only if the potential client replies with an affirmative will a contract be generated for the project.
Payment will always be pro-rated for any project in the following manner:
1). A short project of one month or less in duration:
Seventy-five percent of the total sum will be paid up-front and the remainder due at the close of the project.
2). A project of two- through six months:
The total cost will be prorated in either bi-weekly or weekly intervals depending upon the nature of the work and contract negotiations. This project assumes that material is continually being produced and delivered back to the client for review and/or acceptance.
3). Projects longer than six months:
Client and company will negotiate a flat retainer and payment schedule. The assumption will be that the project will run for twelve months. Should the project be completed before twelve months, an early termination clause in the contract will also be addressed in advance.
