Copy writer and editor, blogger, and proofreader of texts in translation to English

I will write personalised, attention-grabbing and educational copy for you, in the tone and style of your choice, whether this is humorous or serious. I can also write original blog posts using a prompt provided by you, or proofread existing work for spelling, grammar and sense, including text in translation to the English Language.

I have a degree in Politics and International Relations from the University of Cambridge, and have been paid to write and edit blog posts, education material and social media content by several different companies since 2015.

In my most recent salaried role with a nationally touring theatre company, I co-created a 37-page Education Pack surrounding our play, aimed at young people aged between 14 and 18, which was sent to schools around the country. It touched on literary themes, dramatic devices, and stage techniques. I also created engaging captions for Instagram posts, and tweeted to over 26k followers.

While working for a Business-To-Business technology company, I wrote a creative blog post for the website, which focused on how untethered infrastructure is changing the modern workplace, with the purpose of inviting Small-To-Medium Business owners to an event designed to market technology which would support them in embracing these innovate ways of working. I also proof-read blog many blog posts written by others to ensure fluency and accuracy before approval.

I have also worked for a multinational translations company as a corrector, editing translated documents which had been proof-read, and ensuring they were grammatically sound.

Work Terms

I am based in London, England, and will work between 9am and midnight, depending on my shift for my part-time job. Let me know what kind of writing or editing project you'd like me to look at, and we can discuss the amount of time it is likely to take me to complete. I will then arrange a quote for you, which will be the approximate cost of the work. If it looks likely to take a much longer amount of time than we agreed, I will always discuss this with you.

My rate is $15 per hour (£11.80 GBP).
