Imaginative, something and diligent, I have honed my skills through three years of working in architectural firms and I am currently studying my Part 2 (Master's) in Architecture.
I define myself as someone who has a thirst for new experiences and the knowledge that comes with them. The more architecture I can experience first hand, the more I can grow as an architectural designer. I've never been one to appreciate singular glossy images, as if a whole building is designed for just one shot, my preference is for storyboards or walkthroughs.
After finishing my degree I worked at CHQ Architects for two years. Whilst there I have performed a vast range of tasks, which have helped me to learn a great deal about the realities of construction. I create Revit models, visuals, construction packs and details, assist in the production of feasibility studies, analyse the environmental properties of spaces. I will sign myself up for any task and I love plunging headlong into difficult challenges, the harder the better!
After CHQ I worked for a year at AR Architecture, continuing to refine my Revit and design skills on high-end residential projects.
I am interested in conceptual ideas; biomicry, the structure of societies, the structure of the brain, space that can enhance the well being of it's occupants, ice as a building material, furniture, interior design, competitive cake baking, fashion, urban design, landscape architecture. I'm also not content until I know how structures are put together, I can get very upset by poorly though out rain water pipes, illogical layouts, low ceilings, standardised components, architectural diagrams. I love the interplay of various different architectural styles in an urban context.
In September 2016 I returned to University to continue training to be an Architect. I hope to work towards forming my own design collective with the aim of eventually running my own practice.

I am after small freelance architectural jobs. I have a lot of experience converting CAD files to Revit files, drawing up surveys and submitting planning permission.
